Apple’s iPhone 17

Apple unveiled its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's updates to three known models as well as the all-new iPhone Air, which replaces the Plus. If waiting in line on release day is not your style, and you still need to grab one as soon as possible, you'll be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, in advance of the September 19 release date.

The iPhone 17 features a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after a long wait (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the new A19 chip is faster and more optimized, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will experience a significant bump in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more refined.

iPhone 17 Colours

The iPhone 17 will come in black, white, steel gray, light blue, green, and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in colour options such as black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in colours including blue, orange and silver.
